Deep Bill ("we", "us", "the app") is a point-of-sale and billing application for boutiques and small retail stores, published by Deeproots Ltd. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us about it.

• Phone number — used to sign in via one-time password (OTP). This is also used as your unique store identifier.
• Store & business data you enter — store name, address, GSTIN, product catalog, prices, and stock levels.
• Sales data — invoices, customer names and phone numbers you enter for billing purposes, payment records, and expense entries.
• Device information — basic technical data (app version, device type) automatically collected for crash reporting and app stability.

How we use your information

• To authenticate you and identify your store.
• To generate GST-compliant invoices and reports.
• To back up your business data to our secure cloud servers, so it can be restored if you change devices or reinstall the app.
• To provide customer support when you contact us.
• To manage your subscription and payment verification.

Data storage & security

Your data is stored on reputable third-party cloud infrastructure providers. Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS). Each store's data is isolated and accessible only via your authenticated account.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your business or customer data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the infrastructure providers listed above, solely to operate the app.

Your choices

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us using the details below. Customer contact details you enter for billing are under your control as the store owner — please handle them in accordance with applicable law in your jurisdiction.

Children's privacy

Deep Bill is a business tool intended for store owners and staff. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
